Hopefully there are no typos or erros in the pattern but if you find one, please let me know.

Materials:
3 inch Satin ball
Twilley's Goldfingering Crochet Thread.
You could substitute size 10 thread but you may need to add more chain stitches (maybe 17 instead of 13 and 9 instead of 7) or a thin yarn would be nice

Hook size 1.75mm

SPECIAL STITCHES

ttr - triple treble
Yo 4 times, insert hook in st, pull loop through, (YO and pull through 2 loops on hook)5 times.

bttrcl - beginning triple treble cluster
ch4, *YO 4 times, insert hook in same st, pull loop through, (YO and pull through 2 loops on hook)4 times* repeat from * to * once
Yo and pull through all loops on hook

ttrcl - trriple treble cluster
YO 4 times, insert hook in st, pull loop through, (YO and pull through 2 loops on hook)4 times.
(YO 4 times, insert hook in same st pull loop through, (YO and pull through 2 loops on hook)4 times) twice.
YO and pull through all loops on hook
You should have 3 trtr stitches in a cluster.

Instructions

Ch8, sl st to join into a ring

Rnd 1: ch3 for first dc, 19dc in ring. Sl st to first dc to join

Rnd 2: (sc ch7, sk 3 sts) repeat 4 times in total, ch4, tr in beg sc to join

Rnd 3: ch5, bttrcl in same st as joining, (ch13, ttrcl in 4th chain of next loop)4 times in total. ch6, ttr in top of first cluster to join

Rnd 4: ch5, bttrcl in same st as joining, (ch13, ttrcl in 7th chain of next loop)4 times in total. ch6, ttr in top of first cluster to join

Place cover on ball and carry on working.

Rnd 5: sc (ch7, sc in 7th ch of next loop)4 times in total. ch 4, tr in beg sc to join. Finish off leaving around 6 inches of thread

Weave thread through last round to close and finish off securely
