Hopefully there are no typos in the pattern but if you find one, please let me know.

Materials: White size 10 crochet thread.
48 beads (I used gold seed beads)

Hook size 1.5mm or whatever size you normally use with size 10 thread.



This snowflake can be made with or without beads.
To add beads to a dc please follow these instructions:
BDC = yo, insert hook from back to front in loop, yo and pull up a loop, yo at same pull up a bead to front of hook, pull through 2 loops on hook, yo and pull through remaing loops.

Instructions

Thread beads before beginning work. Ch8, sl st to join into a ring

Rnd 1: ch1, *sc, ch3, tr, ch3 in ring* repeat from * to * 7 more times. Join with sl to first sc

Rnd 2: sl st in next 3 chains and following tr. *sc in tr, ch12, sl st in 9 ch from hook, ch3* repeat from * to * around. join with sl st

Rnd 3: For snowflake without beads - just work double crochets instead of bdc. ch6, dc in same st as joining, (ch5, 3bdc ch3 3bdc in chain 9 loop, ch5, dc ch3 dc in sc) around. Join with sl st to first sc.
Finish off.

Stiffen using a commercial stiffener or white glue/water mix.
